OpenAI’s new model, GPT-4b micro, is trained with Retro Biosciences to extend human life by 10 years.

Sam Altman has been working with Retro on the research for almost a year. What does the micro model do? It tries to re-engineer proteins (Yamanaka factors). This set of proteins can turn our skin cells into younger stem cells, which can be a game changer when building human organs and providing replacement cells.

Retro aspires to add 10 years to the human lifespan - starting with Autophagy Enhancement, HSC Reprogramming, and Microglia therapeutics.

Other billionaires have joined the longevity race. Jeff Bezos and others are said to have committed $3 billion in funding the Altos Labs, a secretive San Diego-based longevity laboratory.

Cambrian Bio Chairman Christian Angermayer has been focusing on developing different anti-aging (slowing aging) treatments and pills, including one to keep a woman’s ovaries younger to prolong the fertility window.
